We've got something happening out of the shop nearly every
night of the week.
Here's our regular goings on:
Tuesday [yup, they're back!]
South Knox Road Ride
Approximately 40 miles through the backroads of South Knoxville- 2300' of climbing.
The ride typically splits into two groups, the front averaging around 21mph and
the back around 19mph. This is a great workout and a good, friendly ride, but
it is not a no-drop ride.
Click here to get a map of the course.
If you're coming out for this ride for the first time, we suggest you print the
map out for a cue sheet.
Note: We still suggest a tail light!
This ride leaves from the shop at 6PM sharp.
Wednesday [year round, rain or shine]
Booze 'n Cruze
Dubbed "Most Questionable Sport" by the Knoxville Voice, BnC is a weekly
pub crawl by bicycle. This isn't a shop sanctioned event, but we must say that we
enjoy it. From time to time the ride will conclude early behind TVB and Marie's
Tavern for free live music.
Bring lights, a helmet, and your best sensibilities with you and meet the group
at Preservation Pub on Market Square at 7PM.
Thursday (weekly)
Cherokee Boulevard Spin [Suspended until spring]
This ride typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours and varies widely in intensity from
week to week. Sometimes it's intervals, others it's just a recovery ride. Regardless
of your level of riding, you'll never be more than a couple of miles away from other
members of the group due to the nature of the Boulevard. This can be a good night to come down and
judge your fitness level.
This ride leaves from the shop at 6PM, but you can meet up at the Cherokee Boulevard
anytime thereafter.
Friday
Movie Night (2nd Friday monthly)
Movie nights on the back porch! There's no telling what we'll be showing, but its
always fun. Come by, grab a beer, and catch a flick.
The nex movie date will be posted soon.
